Is there a difference between being ill or unwell?
Illness is usually when you have a particular condition that is affecting the normal functioning of your body. This could be an infection or disease that stops your body and mind from working normally.
Sometimes you can simply feel unwell. There is not an identifiable disease or illness but you know that your body is not working at it’s optimum. Maybe there is a nutritional imbalance, emotional imbalance or hormonal balance that is making you feel different symptoms. Nothing that you need to visit the doctor for but something you would like to improve.
In these circumstances you need to consider what your body has been through, what has changed or which aspect or aspects of your well-being may be out of balance and what you can do to improve things.
