It really brightens up the winter evenings to see the lights and pretty trees.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years I have had patients come in with injuries as a result of putting up the decorations so here are a couple of tips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use a chair or ladder to help you reach heights.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure you move your ladder so you are not over-stretching<\/li>\n<li>Two pairs of hands can make things easier &#8211; ask for help.<\/li>\n<li>There are no rewards for acrobatics!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I hope you have a lovely time putting up your decorations and enjoy the cheer they bring to December evenings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lots of people will be putting up their Christmas decorations this weekend.
