What can I do about loneliness?

Loneliness is your body telling you that you need more social contact. It can be challenging to improve your social connections but the first step is often the most difficult.
Some suggestions:
Join a group to develop a hobby or learn something new
Volunteer
Join an online community
If you are needing more depth in your relationships, to be understood or cared for, you often need to open up.
Things to help:
Ask someone to join a group or class with you.
Take it slowly, don’t get easily discouraged
Try to avoid comparing yourself to others
Are there other areas of your wellbeing you need to improve to help you feel better about yourself and more able to reach out to others.
